I started trying to contact Ford dyno shops. As I’m Deaf, phone calls are inconvenient. Even more so when people don’t fucking answer. I used sprint ip relay to contact several but only got an answering machine.
My patience is gone and my stress is through the fucking roof. It’s official, fuck Ford!
CoFL, if you know any decent Ford service shops in Canada that would do what I need, I’ll fucking cross the border to get it done.
I just want this over with.
Update: got an email contact for one of the service guys at Bill Pierre Ford. Giving him a chance.

I do know a couple that I deal with. Parts and labour are going to cost you more up here.
I typically use the performance centre of a dealership in Vancouver, but that is a long haul for you.

Sucks that Ford is making you work so hard for a simple service. Are there any aftermarket solutions? Like a M egasquirt or Haltech unit that is a simple plug and play?

That’s fine. A weekend is fine as long as the work gets done.

If your set on Canada, I would try Dams Ford in Surrey. They have been pretty good to me and service all the RCMP Crown Vics for Surrey (Canada’s biggest RCMP detachment).
They are easy access to like 3 border crossings too.
I’ve dealt with Dams tons, never any real issues. Full service collision shop at a seperate location too.
I would try emailing if communication is an issue?
I think they’d be your best bet. The other place is for like...specialty work.
Do you have a parts number? Maybe see if they can get it in?

I already have an order in processing with Bill Pierre Ford, if it's in stock it'll be delivered to my address, assuming they can get the part. I'm actually trying to contact them. Will follow up later.

Also, be aware of what the federal/state laws are on bringing over a car that has had work done.
If I cross the border and come back with new rims and tires installed and don’t declare it, they are coming off.

I just need a reprogram. For the ECM and abs modules.

When I use the videophone relay services, I always tell the interpreter not to announce that it's from a Deaf client because 90 percent of the time, they think it's a telemarketer. Annoying.

Their email system on the website is a bit convoluted. Think you can help me get a proper email address?
Forgot to mention, ip relay doesn't do international calls. So I couldn't call the shop you suggested if I wanted to.

Your telco has to continue to provide zero charge TTY TRS at 711 with international billed as standard . IP Relay can’t be used instead-of TTY.

Wait you're deaf? Damn. Good luck with Ford

Yeah, getting service from just about anyone is difficult and at times infuriating.

there are no existing TTY apps or functions for smartphones. Only Sprint IP Relay.
